Leadership
John Greiner, Founder
Based in Houston, Texas, Pastor John Greiner is a national leader and proponent of faith leader and church engagement in electoral politics.
John recently launched MyGodVotes in response to the government-sanctioned, forced closing of the church he pastors, Glorious Way, due to COVID-19. He is now on a mission to empower pastors to speak out on sensitive issues related to politics, current events and religious freedoms.
Since taking a stand for churches, Pastor Greiner and his work have been featured in the Washington Post, BBC, Vox.com, Slate.com, The Michael Berry Show, ABC News, and local and statewide news outlets throughout the country.
A former custom homebuilder, John was ordained in 1988 by Lakewood Church’s Pastor John Osteen. Under Pastor Greiner’s leadership, the 1,000-seat Glorious Way Church, which he founded in 1995, has become a city-wide, non-denominational place of worship for hundreds of Houstonians.
John is also president and CEO of Global Aid Partnership, a non-profit, Christian relief organization that serves impoverished children and their families in 22 countries.
He is the author of Rise Up and Reap (2006).
